The ecological credit crunch is a global challenge. The Living Planet Report 2008 tells us that more than three quarters of the world’s people live in nations that are ecological debtors – their national consumption has outstripped their country’s biocapacity. Thus, most of us are propping up our current lifestyles, and our economic growth, by drawing (and increasingly overdrawing) upon the ecological capital of other parts of the world.

The world with a surface as distinct from the sky and the sea. The earth together with all of its nations of the natives deserves to be appreciated for what it really is and not what delusions of grandeur manifest in every false impression of one's own importance wishes it to be. As with the rivers the flow of the waters have no return. The newborn can only age. Exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally. Small rodents fall prey to domestic cats. Tame dogs are kept domestic by humans. Homo sapiens, distinguished from other animals by superior mental development, power of articulate speech, and upright stance dictate a right which is believed to belong to every person and yet the flagrant disregard for basic human rights. A flagrant violation of the law. One must approach the matter of the world and its citizens in a natural way but with caution to put something or someone in a steady position every step of the way so that it does not fall.
